On July 22, 2025, The Pokémon Company delivered a dynamic 24-minute pre-recorded Pokémon Presents showcase, airing at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET on YouTube.

Pokémon Legends: Z–A
The highly anticipated game is set to release on October 16, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch, including the upcoming “Switch 2.” It features a vibrant and living Lumiose City with a day/night cycle. During the day, players can encounter wild and alpha Pokémon, while at night they can participate in the competitive “Z–A Royale” arena.
A major highlight is the return of Mega Evolutions — with rogue Mega Pokémon rampaging across the city. Players will be able to obtain Mega Stones, and a teaser showed a Mega Dragonite. -
Pokémon Champions
Scheduled for launch in 2026 on both Switch and mobile platforms, this new competitive-focused game streamlines team battles. Players can access Pokémon from Pokémon Home and freely adjust stats, moves, and natures. It offers Ranked and Private battle modes for singles and doubles formats. -
Pokémon Friends
A surprise release, this charming puzzle game is now available on Switch, iOS, and Android. Players complete daily puzzles — over 1,200 in total — to earn yarn and craft plushies, which can be used to decorate their in-game rooms.

Pokémon Café ReMix starts a sea-themed event on July 23 featuring Lapras dressed as a captain, alongside other Pokémon like Alolan Meowth, Totodile, Minccino, and Jigglypuff.

Pokémon Masters EX welcomes new characters Carmine and Sinistcha from July 29 to September 6, with daily login rewards available through August 22.

Pokémon Sleep begins new research on the legendary beasts Raikou, Entei, and Suicune in September, with a new zone called Amber Canyon arriving in November.

Pokémon Unite celebrates its fourth anniversary with the addition of Latios (available via a special code until August 31), Latias arriving on August 8, and a fun new “Electrode Volleyball” battle mode.

Pokémon Concierge, Netflix’s popular stop-motion series, will return for its second season on September 4, 2025.

A new stop-motion series titled Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu is in production by Aardman Studios (the creators of Wallace & Gromit) and is set to debut in 2027.

PokéPark KANTO, a Pokémon-themed attraction, is planned to open in early 2026 at Yomiuriland amusement park, featuring zones such as Sedge Town and Pokémon Forest.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Max Finale takes place on August 23–24, featuring Gigantamax Gengar, Snorlax, and the first-ever appearance of Eternatus. Players can redeem a special promo code during the event.
